MacBean Tartan

The MacBean tartan is red, dark green, sky blue, navy, black and white. The modern, as displayed on this page, is the main design for the family. The MacBean was the first tartan to leave the earth, when Astronaut, Alan Bean, carried two pieces of the cloth to the moon, on the 1969 Apollo 12 mission. An ancient variation, woven in heavyweight cloth, is also available, albeit in a limited range of products.
