The colours of the Banff and Buchan tartan are taken from the landscape of this picturesque and historic part of North East Scotland: the blues of the sea and sky; with touches of white. The yellow overcheck represents the golden fields of ripening barley which are malted to create some of the worlds finest whiskies.
